Diabetic peripheral neuropathy often goes unnoticed until nerve damage is advanced. Diasens targets that gap with a portable vibration-perception test — the same clinical principle specialists use — packaged as an accessible device and app pair.
The system delivers calibrated vibratory stimuli, captures a patient's average VPT across sessions, and translates raw readings into trend-aware risk indicators. A USPTO utility patent application for this integrated approach was filed in December 2025.
Patent Documentation
Application No. 19/428,231 · Filed December 21, 2025 · Title: Diabetic Neuropathy Detection System. This is the filing receipt — the application is pending examination, not yet granted.
Utility patent application No. 19/428,231 filed December 21, 2025 for Diabetic Neuropathy Detection System — official filing receipt available.
Vibration Perception Threshold (VPT) is the standard clinical measure for peripheral neuropathy. Diasens makes that measurement repeatable outside hospital-grade setups.
Custom sensing hardware with calibrated vibration delivery, signal acquisition, and on-device consistency checks before results reach the app.
Session flow, patient history, trend comparison, and exportable reports so clinicians can track deterioration early instead of reacting late.
